山浦丸Yamaura maru

山浦丸（山下汽船：６７９８総トン）

　山下汽船の新造貨物船で「山彦丸」の姉妹船。戦時中は陸軍が徴用、４２年１１月１５日、第２次ガダルカナル島輸送作戦で同島に擱座し、米軍機の攻撃により全損。

Beached herself at Guadalcanal Island on 15 Nov 42, and finished off by US Aircrafts.
